In the Winter,2003 quarter Anita began coordination of the development of nursing courses for a hybrid online RN completion program. This program will provide the opportunity for nurses in the Coachella Valley who have an Associate Degree in Nursing to further their education and earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through CSUSB.
Program students will be able to build community and socialize into the professional role with 2 to 3 face-to-face class meetings per quarter,with the majority of coursework done online. The development of a common format for all courses in the hybrid program will ease the transition for returning students, facilitate access to course materials, yet allow each faculty to use their own style of teaching.
