Achievements: Offering the first Multicultural capstone online
Humanities 335 Latino Culture is being offered as a blackboard course for the first time this fall.
Professor Whitaker has successfully taught the Humanities 335 course via videoconference and undertook the chanllege to convert his course to an online format to assist those students who would find it a hardship to come to campus to take the course.
His course is a rich, multimedia course that will become a benchmark for instructors who are already designing sophisticated online courses or who are drawn to the idea.
