I2Eye
The I2Eye system is a broadband stand alone videophone that allows video conferencing with remote colleges. The device uses high-speed internet connection available at educational institutions to bring students, educators and administrators together in real-time thus allowing for a more interactive, personal and powerful communication tool in classroom, office or satellite locations.
The project is geared towards providing personalized, timely information and academic advising to students at distant locations. The I2Eye system is also being evaluated for use in the elementary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program for remote class visitation and supervision.
